About This Product
Having both light paths on one stand means opaque samples can be examined by light reflected off their surface, while translucent or transparent ones are viewed by light passed up through them. Readings from the stage vernier let a position on the slide be noted and found again later, and the focus tension control stops the stage drifting out of focus. Educational Lab Equipments can supply and export the Trinocular Metallurgical Microscope to South Korea, South Africa, Indonesia, Antigua and Barbuda, Seychelles and Jamaica.
Frequently Asked Questions
What illumination does the Trinocular Metallurgical Microscope have?
Two systems: episcopic (upper) illumination with a 30W halogen source for opaque specimens, and diascopic (lower) illumination with a 20W halogen source for translucent and transparent objects. Each has a rheostat.
Can a position on the slide be recorded?
Yes. The double-layer stage has 1 mm divisions and 0.1 mm vernier graduations, so X and Y coordinates can be noted and the same spot found again.
What is the stage size and travel?
The stage is 130 x 122 mm with a travelling range of 30 x 70 mm.
