About This Product
The plant reproduces a small zinc plating line, and students manage both the crane positions and the bath conditions of a real coating sequence. Each load is cleaned in the temperature-controlled chemical oil bath, rinsed, dipped in acid, rinsed again and then zinc coated in the electrolytic bath, whose current is set on the controlled DC generator and read on the display. The Surface Treatment Plant can be dispatched from India to Côte d'Ivoire, Laos, Somalia, Serbia and Sudan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which process steps does the plant cover?
Five positions on the Y axis handle chemical oil cleaning, rinsing, acid dipping, a second rinsing and zinc coating, while the jib crane moves between high and low positions on the vertical axis.
How is the zinc plating bath powered?
From a current generator delivering 0–10 A of controlled direct current, with the voltage and current shown on a display.
How fast does the jib crane move?
It travels on the horizontal Y axis and vertical Z axis at about 0.2 m/s, driven by separate horizontal and vertical translation motors.
