About This Product
With the chosen vertical load on the specimen, the shear box is driven at the set speed and the display reports speed and displacement as the test runs. A faster return speed can be entered for the residual stage, so the box is brought back quickly when a residual shear test follows. For routine direct shear strength work the specimen size is 60 mm x 60 mm x 25 mm.
