About This Product
The hemispheres recreate the classic demonstration of atmospheric pressure. With the cups pressed together and the air drawn out through the stopcock, the surrounding air holds them shut, and students pulling on the handles find them hard to separate. Opening the stopcock lets air back in, and the cups then come apart easily.
